We always have bacon in our fridge or freezer, so when I was inspired to try this, I couldn’t wait to get started! So glad I did! Or, at least I think I am, it could be a problem because its hard to put it down once you get started tasting this amazing little snack.
You can use this in so many ways… You can use it as an appetizer like I did with cheese, apples, etc. Or, you can put it in salads, sandwiches, baked goods to make a sweet salty nummy kind of muffin or cookie. Or, just put it to your mouth and munch, munch, munch! Our bacon is perfect for candying because its nice and thick! It doesn’t work quite as well with a thin cut bacon.
